________ In a Box!
There’s something new in a box…and no, Justin Timberlake is not signing about it. And before I take liberties with a joke about good things coming in small packages, I’m going to discretely move on and tell you that I love customizable household items. People these days are all for individuality, and it is great to find products that capitalize on that. After all, why not? If we are in the age of the individual, we might as well enjoy it, and be as “us” as we can be. Even if that means tolerating pink crystal-covered cell phones and outlandish outfits, I want everyone to be able to be themselves, however tacky! And however superbly too, because some people are masters at expressing themselves in everything they do. From their hair to their shoes, they are unmistakably “them”. In today’s parlance, we call that “owning it”. And I want YOU to own it. I want you to fake it till you make it, and get down with your crown. And I like products that make me feel that way; like MY way is special.
So right now I am particularly excited to blog about this item, because I love products that are highly customizable and encourage creativity. That is why I like the concept behind Lamp-In-A-Box. This gift-worthy item allows you to select from a cache of printed designs from the shade, but I definitely recommend you download your own photos or images. It is simply that easy to incorporate your art or design into a piece of furniture for your home; the online process is a cinch, from start to finish.
Think of the possibilities—you can design something in photoshop, and have it on a lamp in a few weeks or less. You can make a moment last, but better than a photograph, a lamp is a useful item, bringing ambient lighting to the space. I like the acrylic sphere’s base, and hope they continue to offer even more styles. It becomes more like its own work of art if you use the right design. One that also adds functional brightening, plus mood, to the room. I think children will have a ball with this, designing their own. I think teenagers will tag theirs up, and hey, I was a teenager not all so long ago and I’m down with that. I think adults will bring sophistication to theirs by playing with color. I think retirees will have a lamp for each grandchild…if they knew where to look.
Good thing for you, I do. Make your own art lamp at LampInABox.com. And don’t forget to stop by 58Coupons.com to see what lovely savings, Lamp-In-A-Box codes, and special coupons we have to save you money.
