Fashionista Style on a Recessionista Budget

Rent Diamond Jewelry starting at only $75 from Adorn.com

Summertime conjures up a lot of similar images for people: lying on the beach, BBQ parties, vacations.  It’s the season of warmth, fun and—you guessed it—weddings.

This summer I’m slated to go to three weddings, and thankfully this year I’m only in one of them.  Don’t get me wrong, weddings are great.  But being in three out of five weddings in one summer gets to be a bit much.  Never again.

The wedding I’m a bridesmaid for also happens to be the one I’m most excited about.  It’s for my best friend since practically birth, and she’s marrying her high school sweetheart.  Normally I’m skeptical of those unions too, but these two were made for each other.  They’re the kind of couple you want to be annoyed or grossed out by, but you just can’t because they’re so in love and so perfect together.

Also it doesn’t hurt that the bridesmaid dresses are actually beautiful.

As this couple isn’t exactly rolling in the dough, their wedding is on a bit of a budget.  So to cut down on costs—but still compliment her beautiful dress—my friend got wind of this great idea: rent instead of buy the jewelry!

Adorn does exactly that.  The best (and most appealing) way to sum up their concept:  “Fashionista style on a recessionista budget.”

My friend has already selected a beautiful pair of diamond earrings and a necklace to match, marked her wedding date and paid an incredibly low price for real diamond jewelry.  The pieces are set to arrive two days before the wedding, and once it’s over, all she has to do is return them in a prepaid envelope!

So genius is this concept that I decided I wanted to splurge for the wedding, too.  So I went ahead and ordered myself a simple yet elegant pair of pearl and diamond earrings for the event.  I can’t wait for them to arrive, and even if I’m just wearing them for a night, I know I’m going to feel like a million bucks.

And most importantly, so will my soon-to-be Mrs. friend.

So if you’re the bride-to-be or just the supportive friend-in-attendance and want that extra beauty boost without the price, you’ll want to check out Adorn.com.  And be sure to stop by 58Coupons.com to save even more with Adorn coupons and discounts!
